I am selling everything I own.

What does that mean?   I will sell most everything I have in my posession, with the exception of various irreplacable keepsakes and my genealogical research.

Can you buy my car?   Sure, but I'm going to go buy another one. Things I don't want to part with are listed for more than they are worth. Most things are listed at a reasonable rate, or are really discounted if I just want to be rid of them.

Why am I doing this?   First, my husband and I just bought our first house (hooray!), and we extended ourselves, so the extra cash helps with the mortgage. Second, in the middle of buying the house we learned that I was pregnant (hooray!); we had a baby girl just before Thanksgiving 2005. We need extra money for the baby. Third, I have too much stuff. I don't need all this stuff. I want to simplify. We need to make room for baby's things. You get to benefit.
